Welcome to the Laboratory for High Energy Physics
The Laboratory for High Energy Physics (LHEP) is a division of the Physics Institute at the University of
Bern, Switzerland.
We conduct research in the field of experimental particle physics.
The five main subjects are:
- high-energy collider physics
- neutrino oscillation physics
- low energy neutrino physics
- development of novel particle detectors
- medical applications of particle physics
The LHEP has also been involved in experiments on low energy QCD studies, search for dark-matter, strange-matter, quark-gluon plasma, etc.
