XENON

The XENON collaboration is currently commissioning XENON1T, a new dark matter detector with a target mass of 2.0 tons of liquid xenon, at LNGS (Italy). The previous instrument, XENON100, is still taking data.

DARWIN

DARWIN will be the ultimate dark WIMP dark matter detector in Europe with a target of several tons of liquid xenon. We are currently studying how such an instrument can be built and its science reach.

Low background Physics

Searching for rare processes such as the inteactions of dark matter particles with normal matter requires experiments with an extremely low background. We try to make the next generation experiments even better.
